Bigger is Better, or So You Think

Despite the advances made in nanotechnology and the hype surrounding skinny and slim bodies, bigger is better. Or at least where toys for the big boys like cars and lighters are concerned. Lighters, really? (Insert slack jaw or a frown with an incredulous expression)

Well, your slim cheap Zippo lighter can do its job in most cases. You can light a cigar, start a fire, and de-ice car doors, among other uses. But there are cases when you simply need a bigger lighter to accomplish your ends satisfactorily. And no, this is not for arson purposes.

Remember when people in rock concerts held their lighters aloft and swayed to the music of the singers during power ballads? The sight of all the sea of lights rhythmically swaying together is pure pleasure for both concertgoers and singers. Indeed, you can just feel the energy being exchanged between them, an almost-electric connection charging the air. Okay, I got carried away there.

Nowadays, that sea of Zippo lights is being replaced by a sea of cellphone lights! Que horror! Que barbaridad! Well, of course not in all cases. If you are in a DJ Tiesto trance concert, your cheap Zippo lighter and the lighters of the other partygoers will be drowned by the electric light show. But we are talking about rock concerts, which operate very differently.

Fortunately, there is a site that offers the Big Daddy Jumbo Lighter. As the name implies, it is big, it is huge, and it is a lighter extraordinaire. Measuring at a hefty (for lighters) 4.5″ wide x 6.5″ tall x 1.5″ deep, you will attract attention, which is a very good thing when among thousands of concertgoers. Just imagine the Big Daddy of lighters with its 3.5 inch flame amidst small cellphones and you get the drift.

Words of caution are in order. No matter what you do, never set fire on the hair of the person in front of you; never use it to light cigarettes lest you burn the whole face or the whole hand; and never put it in your back pocket while sitting lest you cause back problems in the long run. Other than these, you can use the Big Daddy Jumbo Lighter like your cheap Zippo lighter.

Indeed, bigger is better if you can take the humungous size of it. And no, I am not talking about anything else other than a big Zippo lighter.
